3rd Sunday Expansive Gong Journey - Open to All

3rd Sunday Gong Journey is open to all - Men, Women, Mx, etc. This event is offered MOST 3rd Sundays of the month unless we have a private event scheduled. 

Perfect for couples, singles and anyone needing a renewal of mind, body, and spirit.  These shorter sessions are suitable for children ages 10+ as long as they are able to lay quietly. Most kiddos LOVE the gong experience just as much, if not more than adults. If you have any questions about your child attending, feel free to message us. 

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.  BEGINNERS ARE ENCOURAGED AND WELCOME!

THE GONG:

The Gong has been used in healing for thousands of years.  The mind finds it challenging to follow and control the complex sounds of The Gong and will enter into a deeply relaxing meditative state. It is great for those who feel resistant to meditation or relaxation in general.  The Gong releases tension and blocks in the body and mind.  It reduces the harmful effects of stress by shifting out of flight, fright or freeze mode and guiding into rest, digest and heal mode. The Gong quiets the mind, clearing the clutter from the subconscious, by working into brain wave states we typically reach during restful sleep or deep meditation.

Release - Receive - Revitalize

Plan on beginning with some gentle breath or energy work, then getting bathed in the healing sounds and vibrations of 2-3 gongs for at least 30 minutes. Once The Gong finishes, we process and reflect in silence and stillness for 5 minutes.  Sharing and/or journaling your experience IS OPTIONAL. 

The entire experience lasts about 90  minutes.  We invite you to stay and enjoy some tea and build community with others.

 ****Mats, pillows, bolsters, blankets and eye masks provided at The Golden House.  Feel free to bring your own if that feels right for you. If you are unable to lay on a mat on the floor, please message me after purchasing your ticket to reserve a lounge or zero gravity chair. 

*Dogs on premises  - Our rescue dogs, Yadi and Nova love the gong but typically mind their own business and retreat to their room.
