Founded in 1990, Rossiter is a unique, two-person, active stretching method that targets the root cause—your connective tissue—to restore mobility, reduce, or eliminate pain, and get you moving again!

Rossiter Stretching is a powerful, targeted bodywork technique designed to relieve pain, increase mobility, and restore function by addressing the connective tissue in the body. Developed by Richard Rossiter, a former Rolfing practitioner and former Army helicopter pilot, this method focuses on stretching the body’s fascia through a series of guided two-person stretches.

What to Expect: In a Rossiter session, a Certified Rossiter Coach anchors specific areas of the client’s body while the client actively engages in prescribed movements. This combination of weight and motion helps to release tight connective tissue, and create space in the joints and muscles. The goal is to “retrain” the body’s tissue to a more natural, pain-free "alignment".
